occasionally, when watching a movie late at night i'll use my headphones from my TV to avoid disturbing others.
would it be possible to implement an option to output the video to one device (dlna-tv) & the audio to another (dlna-android mobile)?

It's an idea but I don't think we'd get the buy in for this as it's too much of an edge case and would make the user experience too complex for some users.

Memberpity. although i understand the cost vs return logic, i was thinking merely as an opt-in type advanced feature which may have appealed to audiophiles for example.
