I have no problems streaming media when I am on my home network. But when I go to another network I can't get it to work remote. Status is online and I can browse through my media, but when I select to play the file, all it does it show that it is loading. Then the screen goes blank. The PC application is on windows 7 and the mobile application is on the kindle fire.

Hmm - this is interesting.
I'll need some logs.
Install the free app 'log collector' from the marketplace. Immediately (literally immediately) after you see the issue, switch to log collector. Email yourself the log and attach it to a mail to support@skifta.com referencing this forum post. -

MemberI am having the same issue with the EVO 4g. Is there a router port that needs to be open for this to work outside of the home. I have not seen anywhere a list of port settings?
