Using a Windows Home Server v1 (via Media Connect) but I assume this would be applicable to any NAS. I have converted a bunch of video files to native rez for my Kindle Fire and Acer Iconia. Skifta plays these back like a champ connected to the WHS via WiFi.
However, what I would like to do is specifically "point" the app to a folder on the WHS that has all the kindle fire videos for example, and not have to:
1) Navigate thru the screen with all of the video options like Actor, Genre, etc. - Just let me go straight into my library and bypass all of the selection criteria.
2) See all of the other videos that are on the server. Basically only let me access the folder with Kindle Fire Videos on it. This could be accomplished with permissions (sign into a specific user account on the WHS and i would set permissions to only "see" the Kindle Fire video folder for that user) or by having an option to point the app directly at a folder on a device, rather than a device in general.
That would give many of us NAS users direct access to content. Otherwise - AWESOME app which makes the 8GB of memory in my Fire irrelevant at home.
